Kane Talks About Whether Or Not He Is Retired

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Kane in the ring for the WWE, his last appearance coming in January where he had a confrontation with The Fiend Bray Wyatt. His last real match came in November of 2018 at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. With these sporadic appearances and his obligations as mayor of Knox County, TN, there’s reason to believe we may have seen the last of the Big Red Machine.

In an interview with Fox Sports, Kane has said that while he’s not exactly missing professional wrestling, you can never say never.

“You never say never in WWE. But, at the same point in time, I’ve gotten to the point in my life where I’m comfortable not being in the wrestling ring. It’s hard work. I’ve also gotten to the age where a lot of times I’m like, ‘Man, that looks like it hurts!’ I used to be, ‘Man, I wish I could be out there doing that!’ Now I’m kinda like, ‘Oooh golly. Those guys are a lot tougher than I am now.’ Nevertheless, if the opportunity arises … well, you know, we’ll see.”

Kane has a lot of things to consider in the next year with important people in his career. The Undertaker is scheduled for his Final Farewell at Survivor Series while Daniel Bryan has talked about this being his final run as a full time performer. Perhaps we’ll see one last appearances for both the Brothers of Destruction and Team Hell No if things go a certain way.
