CMLL World Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer Challenges Mayu Iwatani for IWGP Women’s Title

On October 28th, at New Japan Pro-Wrestling STRONG Fighting Spirit Unleashed the current CMLL World Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer issued a challenge to the IWGP Women’s Titleholder Mayu Iwatani for championship match.

Stephanie Vaquer made her challenge to Iwatani following a tag team bout that saw her and Zeuxis to defeat Lluvia & Johnnie Robbie. Vaquer and Zeuxis are the current CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The match between Mayu Iwantani and Stephanie Vaquer for the IWGP Women’s Championship has been made official for NJPW STRONG Lonestar Shootout on November 10th in Texas.
