Adam Copeland Doesn’t Want Fans To Apologize For Showing Emotion

Adam Copeland defends fans showing emotion for the wrestlers they are fans of.

During Sunday’s AEW WrestleDream event, Adam Copeland made his promotional debut to confront his lifelong friend Christian Cage as he was about to conchairto Sting.

Copeland’s debut was one that has took the wrestling world by storm as the YouTube clip has amounted an incredible amount of views.

On social media this weekend, a fan uploaded footage of her crying during Copeland’s AEW debut, to which she received some negativity from others. Adam saw this post and responded to the fan, noting that they should never apologize for showing emotion.

Well now I know you exist and thank you for showing emotion. Never apologize for being moved by something. Whatever that is. You rock. Thanks for comin on the ride with me.

Copeland is scheduled to face Luchasauras in his AEW debut on Title Tuesday and will speak on this week’s AEW Dynamite.

Copeland is said to be looking to take over the role CM Punk served in the company prior to his firing, minus the drama.

It was also confirmed that it was Beth Phoenix who recorded the “You Think You Know Me” in Copeland’s AEW theme.
