NJPW Superstar Kazuchika Okada was brutally honest when he made his feelings toward IMPACT Wrestling known.

Back in 2010 and 2011, Kazuchika Okada was on excursion from NJPW and worked for TNA. The excursion didn’t go so well as TNA used Okada at a sidekick for Samoa Joe called Okato for part of his time with the promotion. The poor use of Okada by TNA damaged the relationship between NJPW and TNA/IMPACT for many years.

While IMPACT and NJPW have patched up their relationship that has led to a working agreement, Kazuchika Okada still remembers how he was treated and is not as forgiving as he commented on IMPACT during a backstage interview:

IMPACT Wrestling? Give me a break. There’s not a promotion I hate more in this world! But I was a pretty big Motor City fan back in the day. A little while back, we faced them in a tag three-way. I know exactly how good they are, but this is a three-on-three NEVER six-man match, and we’re walking in champions. Being the face of NJPW, I can say that I hate…Actually, I don’t give a damn about IMPACT. Who I really hated was TNA

Kazuchika Okada will get to see a trio of IMPACT Wrestling stars up close on October 9th as he, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii will defend the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Titles against Josh Alexander, current IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Alex Shelley & current X Division Champion Chris Sabin at NJPW Destruction in Ryogoku.
