Blackpool Combat Club Rules!

One of the things AEW has brought back to American pro-wrestling is the focus on factions or units. The latest unit in AEW that is getting everyone’s attention is Blackpool Combat Club.

For those not familiar with BCC, it’s a unit formed with Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and William Regal as their manager. Their first program was first about Regal uniting Mox and Danielson as a tag team, and that was some very good weekly TV, especially when it came time to wrestle.

The first ACTUAL program was all about Wheeler Yuta against BCC. This last month, BCC put all their focus on getting Wheeler Yuta over and they succeeded big time. Yuta’s singles matches against Mox and Danielson put him over as a fighting babyface, but he also gained the respect of William Regal. After the match with Mox and shaking Regal’s hand, Yuta wrote on his chest ‘BCC’ in a very cool visual, this could be an indication that Yuta may join BCC and that would be the best for both.

BCC has been part f some of the best TV AEW has presented since the PPV Revolution from early this year. Everything they do is must-see TV and we as fans can’t wait to see what’s next for them. One of the options of what BCC could do next is feud against another unit and AEW has a lot of those, Team Taz vs. BCC could be some very interesting TV. Another interesting option could be BCC feuding with Adam Cole and ReDragon.

Some people (including myself) were hesitant about Regal in AEW, but he has proven to be a great manager for BCC and a fun addition to commentary every time BCC have a match. Let’s wait and see what’s next for this awesome unit in AEW.
