Shotzi Blackheart Reveals Unique Distinction She Shared With Jeff Hardy At The Royal Rumble
Very rarely do we find parallels in the WWE, but thanks to this year’s Royal Rumble, we found an exact parallel in the women’s and men’s Royal Rumble match all thanks to Shotzi Blackheart.
Blackheart made her first Royal Rumble appearance this year, tank and all, and drew the difficult position of number 5 in the women’s Royal Rumble. She also had the unfortunate distinction of being the first woman eliminated in her match. Normally this could bring the blues to someone, but Blackheart found she had something in common with a men’s WWE Superstar that only made her day that much better.
Blackheart pointed out on Twitter that she shared the number 5 spot in the men’s Royal Rumble match with Jeff Hardy, along with the same distinction of being the first eliminated. Instead of asking him to comiserate with her, Shotzi celebrated the distinction and basically called them twinsies for it. She was so excited for it, not even a fan disappointed in her Rumble performance could bring her down. The fan expressed displeasure over her loss, but she remains absolutely energized she got to participate in this year’s Royal Rumble.
Let’s hope this is the first of many for Shotzi, who is rapidly becoming one of NXT’s most popular Superstars.
