WWE has several producers with a wealth of knowledge, enough to give each brand producers who understand all sorts of aspects of pro wrestling. While NXT has more of their coaching staff in producer roles, NXT now has a very valuable mind in professional wrestling working as a backstage producer.
PWInsider has reported Sonjay Dutt has been added to NXT as a full-time producer for the brand. He was hired back in January along with another former Impact Wrestling star, Abyss.
Dutt has a lot of experience in wrestling, having competed all over the globe, and has good experience with character work, allowing him to help with developing personalities as well as putting matches together. With the recent return of Shane Helms to his producer role, it has been said Helms will be taking over Dutt’s duties on the brand he was working on as Dutt has been moved to NXT.
