Vince McMahon Has Been “Completely Hands-On” With New Drew McIntyre Entrance

Drew McIntyre recently had a big change to his entrance, adding a sword to it that was said to be a family heirloom that was returned to him by his good friend Sheamus. The added sword and pyro to McIntyre’s entrance gave it a big match feel when he arrived with it prior to Survivor Series against Randy Orton on Raw.

If it was meant to feel new and important, that was for a reason. PWInsider has reported Vince McMahon has become very hands-on with the entrance of the new WWE Champion. He has been working on the details down to how McIntyre handles the sword and the exact blocking prior to the pyro going off.

It’s clear McMahon had a vision for his new entrance as it has been said Vince spent “a lot of time” working out the details. McIntyre’s new entrance is definitely a little more animated than his previous ones and gives him a little extra flair he didn’t have before.

It would have been easy to believe the sword was strictly for big matches and special occasions, but with how much work Vince has put into the entrance, this will no doubt be something we see for a while.
