Layla Diggs was supposed to face Zaria on NXT this past Tuesday night for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. It was announced prior to the event that Diggs will no longer be able to compete due to injury.
Layla Diggs has injured her arm during a live event match and appeared on NXT in a sling. It seems she’ll be gone for sometime because she tweeted that she’ll be back and she’ll be a champion. It is unclear at this moment how long Diggs will be out for.
Zaria ended up competing in a Fatal 4 Way where she retained her North American Championship against Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain, and Nikkita Lyons.
