    Update on AJ Lee’s WWE Status

    AJ Lee lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania Night 1

    After the match, AJ admitted that she underestimated Lynch and wasn’t prepared for the lengths Lynch was willing to take to win at WrestleMania. Lee said it was one of the most meaningful experiences of her career, highlighting the chance to wrestle in front of family that haven’t seen her wrestle before

    After WrestleMania, it was reported that creative plans have wrapped up for AJ for the time being.

    According to Fightful Select, AJ Lee is not expected to return to WWE imminently.

    Although the door remains open for her return it doesn’t seem like AJ will be returning in the near future.

    Tatum Paxley Seemingly Done With NXT

    Tatum Paxley lost the NXT Women’s North American Championship to Zaria last night. Tatum held the title for 3 months after winning it from Izzi Dame at Vengeance Day earlier this year.

    According to fans at the performance center, Tatum was seen saying goodbye to the fans after the loss when the show went off air.

    Nothing has been confirmed yet but the moment sparked a lot of speculation that Paxley has wrapped up with NXT.

    WWE had discussed calling more women up to the main roster this summer, Paxley could be one of the names under consideration for the move.

    WWE NXT Results – June 9th, 2026

    NXT took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando Florida last night, here are the results from last night’s show:

    – Fraxiom def. Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno

    – Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair talked backstage, Sinclair told Grey that she wouldn’t be in her corner tonight. NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice then came in and wished Grey good luck in her match against Kelani Jordan tonight. She also said that she didn’t mean to attack Grey last week. Grey didn’t believe her

    – The judges were announced for the Mr. NXT pageant, they were revealed as Kit Wilson, Evolve Champion Aaron Rourke, and comedian Matt Matthews. It was also announced that fan voting was also open for the pageant

    The participants will be judged in 3 categories: Attire, Talent, & Public Speaking

    For the attire portion, both contestants were evaluated in formal wear, casual wear, and swimwear

    After the attire category, Kit Wilson & Aaron Rourke voted for Tristan Angels, while Matt Matthews voted for Shiloh Hill

    – #1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Championship: Naraku def. Mason Rook

    Kam Hendrix attacked and cost Mason Rook the match

    Tony D’Angelo will defend the NXT Championship against Naraku at NXT Great American Bash

    – Myles Borne talked about defending the North American Championship at Great American Bash. Tavion Heights showed up and said that he wants a shot at the title, than Vanity Project showed up which led to Heights challenging Jackson Drake to a #1 Contender’s Match next week

    – A vignette for Tate Wilder aired

    – #1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey def. Kelani Jordan

    Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship will take place at NXT Great American Bash

    – The Talent portion of the Mr. NXT pageant: Shiloh Hill solved a Rubix Cube in under a minute, he still had time to show off another talent. Angels than shoved Hill out of the way & tried to solve the rubix cube himself but failed. He smashed the cube on the ground and moved to juggling. Shiloh then showed up juggling on a unicycle, earning votes from all 3 judges

    – Tony D’Angelo was asked about his upcoming match against Naraku. He said that he doesn’t understand Naraku, but he said that he will have to have his best if he wants to beat Tony. Naraku then appeared and gave Tony an envolope

    – Dion Lennox def. Jasper Troy

    Saquon Shugars appeared during the match on the video screen to distract Dion. Dion got the victory despite the video with help from Osiris Griffin

    Saquon Shugars attacked Griffin with a baseball bat

    – The public speaking portion of the Mr. NXT pageant: Sarah Schreiber asked both superstars why they deserved the title of Mr. NXT. Angels said he is the most handsome man in NXT and that the title was meant for him. He also said that  he has experience in pageants.

    Shiloh Hill said that the pageant made him find who he is. He reflected on his journey from hacking computers to competing in NXT, he said that the brand is all about finding yourself. He also said that NXT changed his life and that as long as you keep fighting back, everything will work out.

    The judges gave their final thoughts. Matt Matthews voted for Hill, Kit Wilson voted for Angels. Aaron Rourke declined to pick a winner and left the decision up to the fans. After the votes were counted, Shiloh Hill became Mr. NXT

    Angels attacked Hill with a steel chair after the decision was made

    – Robert Stone asked Naraku what he gave to Tony D’Angelo. He said that it was an invitation. Keanu Carver demanded a shot at the NXT Championship and said that Kam Hendrix, Naraku, and Mason Rook shouldn’t be ahead of him in line. Carver said he isn’t given the opportunity he would pick one himself. Stone said that he would find Carver an opponent next week

    – Izzi Dame questioned why she was in the Speed Tournament, Shawn Spears said it was his idea, and Niko Vance said it wasn’t a bad idea. Dame agreed

    – NXT Women’s North American Championship: Zaria def. Tatum Paxley (c) to win the Women’s North American Championship

    Cathy Kelley Reveals That She Has Been Diagnosed With Autism

    Current WWE Backstage Correspondent Cathy Kelley signed with the company back in February of 2016, originally debuting with NXT. She would leave the company in 2020 before returning in 2022 as part of the RAW brand and has remained part of the main roster ever since.

    Kelley appeared on the latest episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet and revealed that she has diagnosed with autism.

    “I think it’s just a different side of me (being on TV for WWE). I was recently diagnosed with autism and I recognize that it changes a lot of social dynamics that I have. So when I say introverted, I feel like it’s a little bit more than a typical person would be”

    WWE Raw Results – June 8th, 2026

    RAW took place today in Paris, France and had a special start time at 2pm est on Netflix. Here are the results below:

    – While, Sol Ruca was walking into the building, Austin Theory & Maxxine Dupri were seen talking again

    – RAW opens with Oba Femi arriving to a thunderous pop from the audience. Oba says he will run through everyone in the King of the Ring Tournament, Femi says Brock cheated at Clash in Italy by attacking him when he wasn’t looking. He said he settle the score with Lesnar in the future because they are tied 1-1. Dominik Mysterio then came out and interrupted Femi and said that Oba doesn’t rule anyone. He also said that Femi is a rookie. JD McDonagh hit Femi in the back with a steel chair but Femi didn’t even flinch. Femi tried to get to McDonagh but Dom was able to hit him with a 619. Oba Femi will face off against Dominik Mysterio in the semifinals of King of the Ring next week

    – Seth Rollins called out Roman Reigns and said that Roman has a title that belongs to him

    –Queen of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4 Way Match: Liv Morgan def. Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss & Chelsea Green to advance

    – Chad Gable apologized to Penta for impersonating luchadors

    – Ethan Page says he wants an Intercontinental Championship rematch and that he has eyes on the match tonight

    – Bayley hyped up Lyra Valkyria before her match

    – Seth Rollins met up with Montez Ford in the locker room but was quickly interrupted by The Usos & Jacob Fatu. Jey Uso says Rollins needs to be careful about what he says about his family and says he will win the King of the Ring Tournament. Rollins said he don’t say anything about his family but he was talking about his issues with Roman Reigns

    – Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) def. Lyra Valkyria

    – The Usos confronted Jacob Fatu and Jacob says that he doesn’t acknowledge them and only answers to the OTC. He says that The Usos need to worry about LA Knight

    – LA Knight says Roman Reigns is desperate to keep the WWE trapped in the Bloodline vortex. Jey Uso made his way to the ring and gave Knight a warning that he’s coming for him in their upcoming King of the Ring Tournament match on Friday

    – Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee accepted Chad Gable’s apology. Rey said that Chad has a lot of work to do because Chad did a lot of hurtful things

    – Intercontinental Championship Match: Penta (c) def. Rey Mysterio

    Penta and Rey Mysterio showed respect to each other but got attacked by Ethan Page & Rusev. Dragon Lee came out to make the save for Penta & Mysterio. Rusev ripped Rey Mysterio’s mask off. Chad Gable made the save & gave Rey his mask back

    – Raquel Rodriguez & Iyo Sky said some final words to each other before their Queen of the Ring semifinal match next week

    – Roxanne Perez said to Liv Morgan that Liv facing Raquel in the finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament would be the best thing for the Judgment Day, Liv quickly changed the topic and left with Dominik Mysterio

    – King of the Ring Tournament Fatal Four Way Match: Je’Von Evans def. Seth Rollins, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints

    Rollins looked like he won the match but Austin Theory pulled the referee out of the ring. Montez Ford then attacked Theory. Bron Breakker showed up and speared Seth Rollins. Je’Von hit Saints with his finisher to win the match

    Settlement Reached on WWE Lawsuit

    Vince McMahon and several other current WWE executives were involved in a major lawsuit. That lawsuit is headed towards a settlement after a sudden cancellation.

    The case was set to go before Delaware’s Court of Chancery this week in a 4 week trial. Court officials suddenly removed the hearing at the last minute, leading to belief that the 2 sides have reached an agreement.

    According to Brandon Thurston, Delaware Court  Administrator Tamara Burton confirmed that both parties have reached an agreement and that they will present the settlement for approval in due time

    WWE Officials Don’t See Ilja Dragunov As A Top Superstar

    Ilja Dragunov has been adored by fans for a long time. He is a former NXT Champion, United States Champion, and NXT UK Champion. Many fans think he is a main event star. But, WWE officials don think the same way.

    WWE higher-ups that that Ilja Dragunov as an interchangeable mid card guy talent rather then a big star like fans think. According to the Wrestling Observer the company doesn’t think Ilja as a main event star.

    Dragunov has been lost in a the shuffle recently in WWE. He didn’t compete in WrestleMania and due to the many stars WWE has already it seems like they don’t know what to do with Ilja since the lost the United States Championship to Carmelo Hayes last year.

    Dragunov’s last match he competed in was the 2026 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal which he lost.

    Kay Lee Ray Makes Her In-Ring Return Following WWE Release

    Kay Lee Ray was known in WWE as Alba Fyre, where she was a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion & NXT UK Women’s Champion, was released from WWE on April 24th 2026.

    She made a her return to Pro Wrestling Eve for the first time since 2019.

    Kay Lee Ray shocked the audience as she made a surprise return by answering an open challenge issued by Molly Spartan. EVE teased her return all week, then tricked the audience at the last minute by sending out Abi Cartwright as a knockoff character named Abi Fyre. The lights went out and out came Kay Lee Ray. She pulled off the victory in the match as well.

  • Myla Grace Released from TNA

    Myla Grace Released from TNA

    Myla Grace asked for and was granted her release from TNA Wrestling this week, according to a report from Fightful Select.

    She signed a contract with TNA last summer and was in tag team with Harley Hudson before ultimately being granted her release. Grace’s release was sudden but there is no backstage heat  between the company and Grace.

    Grace can be seen a lot on the independence scene. She recently wrestled for Marigold promotion in Japan and she is currently the Women’s Champion in Over the Top Wrestling in Ireland.

    WWE SmackDown Results – June 5th, 2026

    On June 5th 2026, WWE aired the 1,398th episode of SmackDown live in Bologna, Italy. It aired live on the USA Network in the United States & Netflix internationally.

    Here are the results:

    – SmackDown kicked off to a very angry Gunther who was tearing down the announce desks. Gunther said he wants justice because his was under the bottom rope when Cody Rhodes pinned him for the WWE Championship at Clash in Italy. Cody Rhodes came out and said that Gunther is right and that they should have a rematch. Sami Zayn interrupts this interaction and says that Gunther and Cody both did him wrong. Gunther told Zayn to shut up because this was WWE Championship business. Zayn said he knows a thing or two about beating Gunther for championships and that he is the biggest threat to Cody. Zayn then questioned Cody on the lesson that Cody was talking about? A brawl then broke out between the 3 of them. Cody accidentally hit Zayn with a dive outside of the because Gunther moved, Cody offered Zayn a handshake but Zayn declined

    – The Miz tried to look at the experiment Danhausen was making but then went into electric shock

    – Backstage, Gunther told Nick Aldis to fix the WWE Championship situation or Aldis will get sued

    – Queen of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way Match: Raquel Rodriguez def. Bayley, Kiana James, and Jacy Jayne

    After the match Giulia turned on Kiana because Kiana thought Giulia costed her the match. Kiana blamed the loss on Giulia. Eventually, Giulia would finally lay Kiana out marking the end of their partnership

    – Backstage Sami Zayn was talking to Johnny Gargano again when Nick Aldis came up and told Sami to stay out of the WWE Championship picture. Chad Gable was than seen entering Aldis’ office

    – Talla Tonga def. Royce Keys

    – Judgment Day celebrated Raquel’s victory earlier in the night and Liv Morgan said that they would meet in the Queen of the Ring finals

    – Backstage, Damian Priest & R-Truth would be confronted by the returning AAA Tag Team Champions The War Raiders

    – Jade Cargill & Michin def. Charlotte Flair & Tiffany Stratton

    – Fatal Influence attacked Brie Bella & Paige backstage

    – Ricky Saints def. Carmelo Hayes

    – Lash Legend (w/ Nia Jax) def. Chelsea Green

    – Another Blake Monroe vignette appeared and Monroe said she’s targeting Tiffany Stratton

    – Nick Aldis told Cody Rhodes that he will defend the WWE Championship in 2 weeks against Gunther. Gunther will pick the stipulation of the match next week
