The women were going at it early, brawling and throwing hands in the early going. Sadly, this match didn’t get a lot of time, but they filled it with as much action as they could, including Jade Cargill hitting the One Winged Angel.

Michin and B-Fab got involved and suddenly, things got chaotic. IYO Sky then made her way out and took them both out with a springboard Moonsault, which distracted Jade Cargill and led to Rhea Ripley hitting the Riptide for the win. The new WWE Women’s Champion is Rhea Ripley.

WrestleMania: Demon Finn Balor Defeats Dominik Mysterio

‘The Demon’ Finn Balor has finally returned at WrestleMania 42 Night 2. Balor took on Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight. This match was made a Street Fight just today, as general manager Adam Pearce announced the stipulation ahead of WrestleMania, on social media and the pre-show.

This one got crazy fast, as kendo sticks, chairs and tables were all introduced, and Dominik was trying his best to keep Finn Balor down, but no matter what he did, it seemed like the Demon kept coming alive.

This match was exactly what you’d expect it to be, chaos. From broken ladders to broken bodies, these six men destroyed each other. And Penta literally destroyer’d JD into a ladder and it was disgusting!

WrestleMania: Brock Lesnar Retires From WWE Following Loss

Brock Lesnar is no longer an active member of the WWE roster, as he has retired at WrestleMania 42 following his opening match loss to Oba Femi.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2045991488211788043?s=46

Brock Lesnar versus Oba Femi kicked off WrestleMania Night 2 on ESPN. In what was a fun sprint match, Oba Femi ultimately picked up the victory. But, the aftermath is what surprised all, when an emotional Brock Lesnar took his gloves and boots off, placing them in the center of the ring and signifying his retirement. Brock waved to the crowd, hugged Paul Heyman, and then celebrated with the fans while going up the ramp.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2045991941083467953?s=46

For Brock, this is the end of a career that started on March 18, 2002 when he debuted in WWE on Monday Night Raw. Brock was in a class at OVW with the likes of John Cena, Batista and Shelton Benjamin. Now, all except the latter are gone.

In his career, Brock Lesnar became a 10-time world champion in WWE and has had huge moments, such as ending the Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. Now, it’s all over. You can see highlights to Brock’s last match here.

  • WrestleMania: Oba Femi Crushes Brock Lesnar

WrestleMania: Oba Femi Crushes Brock Lesnar

Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar kicked off night two of WrestleMania 42 and the anticipation was at an all-time high. Both of these beasts stood toe-to-toe and the crowd was loving it.

The match kicked off with a simple collar and elbow tie-up, but it came to a stalemate and both men backed off. Then, Brock ran at Oba and couldn’t take him down, that’s when he realized this was going to be a tough night.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2045989770187137316?s=46

This match did not last long, Brock hit Oba with a couple suplex’s, threw him into the ring post, but Oba took it all with ease.

  • Major Change Announced for WrestleMania 42 Sunday Match

Major Change Announced for WrestleMania 42 Sunday Match

A last-minute change has been confirmed for WrestleMania 42 Sunday, altering one of the previously scheduled matches for the event.

Originally set as a one-on-one, the match between Dominik Mysterio and “The Demon” Finn Bálor has now been updated with a new stipulation.

    https://x.com/WWE/status/2045957248522829996

It has been officially announced that the former Judgment Day members will now face off under Street Fight rules, allowing the use of weapons and removing disqualifications.

This change raises the stakes for WrestleMania Night 2, as the rivalry between both competitors continues to escalate in recent weeks.

  • WrestleMania 42 Night 2 Preview and Predictions: Full Match Picks

WrestleMania 42 Night 2 Preview and Predictions: Full Match Picks

WrestleMania 42 wraps up Sunday, April 19, with a loaded Night 2 card that will shape WWE’s direction moving forward. The show is headlined by Roman Reigns challenging CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. Several other title matches and key matchups round out the night.

    Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi

This is one of the most intriguing matches on the card. Oba Femi has momentum, but WWE often takes a cautious approach with rising stars. Brock Lesnar winning keeps him strong for future programs, and I don’t think he loses until his retirement match. To clarify, these predictions are not what I would do, but how I see WWE working.

    Winner: Brock Lesnar

    Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

Penta defends against Rusev, Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio, Je’Von Evans and JD McDonagh. The match lacks a strong story, but the field suggests a showcase. Rey Mysterio stands out as a potential surprise winner in a moment-driven match.

    Winner: Rey Mysterio

    United States Championship Match

Sami Zayn defends against Trick Williams. A character shift appears likely, with Zayn leaning heel and Williams gaining momentum as a fan favorite. Williams feels positioned for a breakout moment.

    Winner: Trick Williams

    Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio

The long running Judgment Day story has cooled, but Balor bringing back his Demon persona signals a decisive outcome. Dominik Mysterio remains effective regardless of results.

    Winner: Finn Balor

    WWE Women’s Championship Match

Jade Cargill defends against Rhea Ripley. With uncertainty around Bianca Belair’s status due to being pregnant, Cargill retaining keeps options open for a future title change tied to Belair’s return. But that seems like a long time from now. I think changes plans.

    Winner: Rhea Ripley

    World Heavyweight Championship Match

CM Punk defends against Roman Reigns in the main event. Reigns regaining the title creates fresh storyline paths and potential rivalries. Punk’s direction may shift following a loss.

    Winner: Roman Reigns

    Final Thoughts

WrestleMania 42 Night 2 looks set to deliver defining moments, with title changes, breakout performances and major storyline shifts all on the table. By the end of the night, WWE should have a clearer picture of its next era (another one?), with new stars rising and familiar names continuing to shape the main event scene.

  • WrestleMania: Cody Rhodes Retains, Randy Orton Stands Tall

WrestleMania: Cody Rhodes Retains, Randy Orton Stands Tall

WrestleMania Night 1 ended with Cody Rhodes defending the WWE Undisputed Championship against Randy Orton. And of course, this got out of control before the match even began.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2045675442493899041?s=46

Cody Rhodes was attacked during the match announcements when Pat McAfee hit him in the head with the microphone. Orton then pounced on the attack. But, Cody fought back. Cody then beat Pat McAfee up and took him to the outside. Jelly Roll then showed up from the crowd, and put Pat through the announcers table.

After Pat was taken out on a stretcher, the bell rang and the match actually began. Randy Orton was busted open early on, and then things just kept getting crazier. Both men traded each others finishers, Orton then RKO’d the referee, and Pat McAfee made his way back down with a referee shirt on and a neck brace.

When Randy couldn’t get the match done, he RKO’d Pat, but then walked right into a cross-Rhodes and Cody Rhodes picks up the win. After the match, Randy Orton hit Cody with the WWE Championship, and then punted him. Orton stood tall over Cody to end the show.
