This year’s Royal Rumble could be historic.
Every January, WWE’s Royal Rumble is perhaps the most anticipated wrestling event of the year when it comes to potential debuts, returns, and surprises.
According to PWInsider, this year will no different. Per the report, WWE Hall of Famer, Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman could be a surprise entrant in the men’s rumble match, as Waltman is scheduled to be in Florida that weekend, as the rumble is slated to take place in St. Petersburg, Florida.
More notable names that are potential names to watch are current TNA Knockouts World Champion, Naomi as well as former SmackDown Women’s Champion, Liv Morgan. Naomi is set to finish with TNA early this month, while Morgan is close to returning following an injury.
“Sean Waltman, Naomi & Liv Morgan are all potential Royal Rumble surprises. There was talk last week at the PC that Waltman aka X-Pac would be in Florida for WWE over Rumble weekend. Naomi is slated to finish up with TNA this month and WWE sources have confirmed she is returning to the company. There’s been talk of Liv Morgan returning soon.”
