It doesn’t sound like Mercedes will be back wrestling soon — at least not for All Elite Wrestling.
Back in August it was reported that – after having injured her ankle in May – there was heavy expectation Mone would be appearing for All Elite Wrestling once she was cleared of her injury, according to PWInsider.
Fast forward to the beginning of October, Dave Meltzer confirms the PWInsider report in his own Wrestling Observer Newsletter, stating that:
“the expectation is that she would work AEW, NJPW, & Stardom.”

In an update to this story on a Fightful Select Q and A, Sean Ross Sapp provided an update to this situation:
“The once working plans for AEW & Mercedes Moné are no longer working plans.”
Fightful scoopster Sean Ross Sapp stated he is trying to gain more information on Mercedes and WWE.

With the Royal Rumble around the corner, fans would most likely want to know if there is potential interest in a return between the two sides.
