Moments ago via their social media Twitter account, TNA made the reveal that former IWGP World Champion Will Ospreay will step into a TNA ring for the first time EVER on January 14th for the companies Snake Eyes TV taping.
Will has previously worked a number of IMPACT’s events, including: Bound For Glory Ppv where he defeated Mike Bailey, Bound For Glory Fallout TV tapings where he defeated Josh Alexander, and the taped Turning Point event where he defeated Eddie Edwards.
Ospreay previously praised the IMPACT locker room and made it known he wanted to step foot into a TNA ring once the rebrand of IMPACT took place.
Ospreay was set to hit free agency at the beginning of February 2024, however, Will recently signed a multi year contract with All Elite Wrestling, which will start at the beginning of February.
TNA reportedly made a massive offer for his services, however, Ospreay opted to sign with AEW.
No matches have been announced for the television taping yet, so it remains to be seen what Ospreay will be doing for the taping.
