AEW are not taking shortcuts when it comes to The Devil’s storyline in All Elite Wrestling.
Over the course of the last few weeks, AEW has been running a storyline where someone has stolen MJF’s devil mask, and is currently wreaking havoc on All Elite Wrestling along with several allies.
While MJF has denied that he is behind the mask once again, some stars like Roderick Strong do not believe him. However, it seems now that we have more information on The Devil and his lackeys.
Per Fightful Select, the people underneath the masks are being portrayed by those who will eventually be revealed in the future. This is a different take than other stories in wrestling in the past, where extras would be used to help hide the identities.
Multiple sources reached out to confirm that is the case, and that several people within the company know the identities, but have done well at keeping it quiet.

MJF is currently set to face off with Jay White at AEW Full Gear, who was the first victim of The Devil and his crew.
