Miyu Yamashita, who is the current Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling Princess of Princess Champion, has requested a match with Pro Wrestling NOAH legend Naomichi Marufuji.
Yamashita teamed up with Marufuji and Kazusada Higuchi as they defeated Saki Akai, Yukio Sakaguchi & Hideki Okatani at DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Ultimate Party 2023 event on November 12th. This was Saki Akai’s final match as a professional wrestler.
During the backstage post match press conference, Miyu Yamashita indicated that she would like to have a match with Naomichi Marufuji. Marufuji responded by saying Yamashita is one of the few women he would do it with if the match could be worked out.
With Pro Wrestling NOAH and TJPW both owned by Cyberfight, there is a very good chance that a singles match between Naomichi Marufuji and Miyu Yamashita could be announced soon.
