Exclusive: Royce Isaacs Speaks On The West Coast Wrecking Crew’s Upcoming NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championship Opportunity Against ELP and Hikuleo
On October 28 at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed event in Las Vegas, the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Champions El Phantasmo & Hikuleo defeated Lance Archer & Alex Zayne to retain their titles.
Following the match, Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson aka The West Coast Wrecking Crew, came to the ring and attacked ELP and Hikuleo.
Jorel Nelson reminded the crowd that not only did the West Coast Wrecking Crew build the NJPW STRONG Tag Division but they are the best tag team in the promotion. Royce Isaacs also addressed the fans in attendance and watching on NJPW World that he is “sick and damn tired” of seeing random and fly by night tag teams thrown together and getting opportunities that they should be receiving.
It was revealed that ELP and Hikuleo will defend the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championship against Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs at NJPW STRONG Lonestar Shootout on November 10th in Texas.

These NJPW STRONG Tag Titles mean the world to Jorel and I. We’ve been in NJPW STRONG since March 2021, we helped build this division, we shaped what STRONG is.
We’ve had opportunities for these belts in the past but the titles have evaded us; but I think after last night everyone can agree that those belts look like they’re in their rightful place in our hands. November 10th the belts come home, for the first time, to The WCWC.

On November 10th at NJPW Lonestar Shootout, we could very well see the first NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championship reign of Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson and quite frankly, it would be well deserved and long overdue.
