AEW WrestleDream: MJF vs The Righteous Match Result

The Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Titles were on the line in the opening bout of AEW WrestleDream.

Due to Adam Cole’s ankle injury, MJF would come in to defend the titles on his own in Seattle, Washington. MJF would come out with a mic in hand before the match, he would address the Jay White attack from AEW Dynamite. He would deny being involved, stating someone stole his devil mask. He would cut a promo on The Righteous before making his way to the ring.

MJF would start off with some sportsmanship and a slap in the face. It would not take long for the handicap match to dissolve into the 2 on 1 beatdown that was expected.

After hitting the Acid Drop, MJF would manage to stay alive in the matchup, grabbing a hold of Vincent’s testicles to turn the tide while the referee was distracted.

Max would have your typical babyface comeback, before hitting the bodyslam he called for before the match on Dutch to a huge pop from the Seattle crowd.

Following a head up the ass, a Kangaroo Kick and a Heatseeker, MJF was able to steal the victory.
