SHO Gets Creatively Brilliant When Proposing Rules For Upcoming KOPW Title Match Against Taichi.
On September 24th at the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Destruction In Kobe event, Taichi is set to defend his KOPW 2023 Title against SHO.
At a live press conference stream today, Taichi and SHO presented their proposed rules for the upcoming match which will be traditionally voted on by fans.
Here are the proposed rules for the KOPW 2023 Title match on September 24th. SHO presented a set of rules which can be considered as brilliant.
Taichi’s rules:
Seconds handcuffed match
- No time limit
- HOUSE OF TORTURE and Just 5 Guys members will be handcuffed to one another:
- EVIL to SANADA, DOUKI to Yujiro Takahashi, TAKA Michinoku to Dick Togo
- If either participant breaks free of their handcuffs, the match will be deemed a no contest.
SHO’s proposed rules:
10 minute guaranteed decision match
- If the time limit elapses, SHO is declared the winner
- Taichi is banned from using the Black Mephisto
- SHO retains the right to add other rules on account of the weight difference between he and Taichi, or as circumstances demand.
As the press conference ended, Taichi attempted to go after SHO, but SHO made a quick exit to escape.
Fans will now vote for which set of proposed rules will be made official for the KOPW 2023 Title match. The voting begins on September 14th and runs for a 72 hour period.
