Bianca Belair Says Some Of Her Matches With Bayley Aren’t Talked About Enough

Bianca Belair thinks some of her matches with Bayley are not talked about enough.

The two women have a storied rivalry in WWE, with Bayley originally supposed to challenge Belair all the way back in 2021 before an ACL injury took her out of action for over a year. When Bayley did return to WWE, she would confront Bianca at SummerSlam 2022 along with her new friends in Damage CTRL.

After this the two women would battle in a series of matches, with Bayley even pinning Belair during their rivalry, something no woman could do outside Becky Lynch during Bayley’s time away.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo, Bianca stated she’s very happy with the reputation she’s built inside the ring and noted that some of her matches with Bayley do not get talked about enough.

“There’s so many because, like you said, I’m very happy with the reputation I’ve built. If you see Bianca Belair in a match, you know it’s going to be a good match with some feats of strength and athleticism,” she said. “Of course, me main eventing WrestleMania — anybody who is in WWE, their goal is to always main event WrestleMania, and I was able to do that. Also, the work that I’ve done with Becky Lynch, our WrestleMania 38 match, I think was an amazing match. Some matches that I feel like that aren’t talked about enough are the matches that I’ve done with Bayley. Our Hell in a Cell match in front of no audience, if you go back and you watch that match, the creativity, what we did in that match, it was really an amazing match.”

Belair is currently scheduled to challenge for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam in a triple threat match with Charlotte Flair and champion Asuka.
