Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kaito Kiyomiya Sets His Sights On IWGP World Champion SANADA

With the NJPW G1 Climax 33 set to begin in a little over a month, Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Kaito Kiyomiya, who will be making his G1 Climax debut, has made it clear who he has set his sights on.

Kiyomiya has indicated that his target in Block A is the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA. Also participating in Block A will be Chase Owens, Yota Tsuji, Ren Narita, Shota Umino, Hikuleo, and Gabriel Kidd.

Kiyomiya indicated backstage after Pro Wrestling NOAH’s June 18th show that none of the other Block A participants are in his sights except for SANADA:

“Don’t make me say it over and over again, Tsuji, Umino, it’s not in my eyes! All I see is SANADA.

Kiyomiya also mentioned Yota Tsuji who is his opponent on the opening night of the G1 Climax 33 scheduled for July 15th, but once again confirmed he wants SANADA:

“G1 season opener, Yota Tsuji. You just challenged me for the belt in Japan and Mexico, right? It’s not in my eyes. Use Kaito Kiyomiya’s name and aim for the leading role. Block A, I’m only looking at SANADA!”

Kaito Kiyomiya is scheduled to face SANADA on July 25th at Korakeun Hall on the 7th Night of the G1 Climax 33 tournament.
