IMPACT Wrestling Reveals Meet & Greet Information For Summer Sizzler TV Tapings This Friday & Saturday, Promotes New Merchandise
Friday 6/23 Pre Show Meet & Greet:
–Sami Callihan — Sami just reformed oVe with Jake Crist & Madman Fulton. No matches have been announced, so it should be interesting to see what Sami & oVe will be doing at the tapings.
–Brian Myers — Myers aligned himself with the Good Hands in their unsuccessful quest to capture the IMPACT Tag Team Titles from ABC; just last week, Myers also teased teaming with Moose to go after the Tag Titles themselves.
–IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) — The Coven have had a number of successful title defenses since winning the titles back in March. There is not much competition for the titles, but hopefully they changes soon.
Friday 6/23 Post Show Meet & Greet:
–IMPACT Knockouts World Champion, Deonna Purrazzo — Deonna recently teamed with her Slammiversary opponent, Trinity, to take on & defeat Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans. Deonna is set for a Knockouts Title defense a week after these tapings in the Australia: Down Under Tour against Gisele Shaw, who will be added to the Slammiversary match if she wins.
–Frankie Kazarian — Kazarian is in a feud with fellow Killer Kowalski trainee, Eddie Edwards. Kazarian defeated Edwards at Against All Odds and is scheduled to team with him this week against Bully Ray & Maclin.
–IMPACT #1 Contender to the World Title, Nick Aldis — Nick Aldis is slated to take on Alex Shelley at Slammiversary for the IMPACT World Title after earning his spot at Against All Odds when he made Heath tap out to the Cloverleaf in the 8-4-1 match.
–Dirty Dango — Dango seems to be going through a pretty cool character transformation right now, crafting a more edgy character. He’s been battling with Joe Hendry for a while now, and was recently found to be the one who brutally attacked Santino Marella back in April that sidelined Marella for a few weeks.
Saturday 6/24 Pre Show Meet & Greet:
–Death Dollz (Courtney Rush & Jessicka) — Courtney Rush (the human version of Rosemary) emerged from the Undead Realm recently, and has agreed to continued the arrangement with Jessicka to be a Death Doll. They recently fell short in their quest to capture the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles from The Coven.
–IMPACT World & X Division Champions, The Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin — Alex Shelley defeated Steve Maclin at Against All Odds to finally capture the IMPACT World Title; Shelley is set to defend against Maclin in Australia, and then if he is still the champ, he will be defending his World Title against Nick Aldis at Slammiversary.
Sabin defeated Trey Miguel at Against All Odds to become a 9x IMPACT X Division Champion.
Saturday 6/24 Post Show Meet & Greet:
–IMPACT Director of Authority, Santino Marella — Santino is hellbent on getting revenge against Dango for the brutal assault that Dango put him on the shelf with.
–PCO — PCO recently fell short in obtaining the IMPACT World Title after a brutal NO DQ match against Maclin at Under Siege; his team also fell short in the 8-4-1 match to become the #1 contender to the World Title.
–IMPACT Digital Media Champion, Joe Hendry — Hendry has had numerous defenses of his Digital Media Title, and it currently entangled with Dirty Dango after finding out that Dango was the one who battered Director of Authority, Santino Marella.
IMPACT also hyped new merchandise for some of their talent lately, including:
World Champion, Alex Shelley:
Shelley finally has some merchandise of his own to celebrate his World Title victory.
Masha Slamovich:
“The Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich finally has some IMPACT merchandise as well. She recently defeated Killer Kelly in a Dog Collar Match at Against All Odds.
Death Dollz (Courtney Rush & Jessicka):
To celebrate the new version of this group, they had to have the “bling” that goes with it, so the company rolled out some new t-shirts.
