AEW Retaining Rights To Fight Forever Game Engine For Possible Future Games

AEW have retained the rights to the engine used in AEW: Fight Forever.

AEW’s debut into console games is due for release later this month and will has a lot of fans chomping at the bit to play the brand new game. At present, the game is scheduled for release on June 29th.

Fightful Select reports that the game will not be an annual release and will be constantly updated with DLC. However, AEW will retain the rights to the game engine in case they want to develop a new game from scratch.

We’ve mentioned in the past that the original plan was for Fight Forever to be a one-off release with constant updates and DLC as opposed to a repeat release. However, we’re told that AEW retains the rights to the game engine in the event they change their minds in the future.

AEW: Fight Forever will also feature several hard to find easter eggs in the game upon release.
