CM Punk Has Taken A Liking To Jay White’s Work Ahead Of AEW Return

CM Punk is interested in the work of the Bang Bang Gang.

CM Punk’s return is set for June 17th on AEW Collision, with the deal coming together in the past couple of weeks. In the last few months, there have been several possible programs for Punk reported. Chris Jericho and Samoa Joe have been reported to have been pitched to the former AEW World Champion.

Fightful Select now reports that Punk has taken a liking to the work of “Switchblade” Jay White.

Originally we’re told there were heavy pitches for Chris Jericho to work with CM Punk, but we haven’t heard anything new on that front for quite some time. Fightful reported that Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk was planned at one point, which we have heard was still in the works. However, of late, word is that CM Punk has taken a liking to the work of Switchblade Jay White, and that he could be an early opponent or program with CM Punk along with Bullet Club Gold.

We will have to wait and see if Punk’s return will lead to a storyline with White.
