Backstage Reaction To Kris Statlander’s TBS Championship Win “Overwhelmingly Positive”

The backstage reaction to Kris Statlander’s big championship win at AEW Double Or Nothing has been incredibly positive.

At AEW Double Or Nothing, Jade Cargill hosted an open challenger for the TBS title. The fans were in for a surprise when Kris Statlander walked out to an incredible reaction. Kris would go on to win the match and became AEW TBS Champion in the process.

According to PWInsider, the reaction to Kris Statlander winning the TBS Championship was overwhelmingly positive backstage.

Those within the promotion have noticed how hard Kris Statlander has worked for her return and it is noted that Statlander has also been helping backstage while she was out of action due to her injury.

Kris was out of action for around a year after tearing her ACL. She would defend her newly won championship on Wednesday’s Dynamite, defeating Nyla Rose.
