Goldberg Met With Promoter From Israel About Farewell Tour Stop During WrestleMania Week

Goldberg has at least one destination in mind for his farewell tour that looks more and more likely to happen every day.

Goldberg has been more than vocal as of late about his displeasure regarding Vince McMahon breaking a handshake deal about him getting a retirement match in WWE. However, he has decided to take matters in his own hands, planning to go on a farewell tour of matches before calling it quits on his wrestling career.

According to a new report from PW Insider, Goldberg was actually discussing his retirement match over WrestleMania weekend. However, Goldberg was not having talks with WWE.

WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg did a radio appearance this week, discussing the idea of a four city farewell tour to close out his career after a “handshake agreement” with Vince McMahon hasn’t resulted in a official retirement match.

PWInsiderElite.com can confirm that over Wrestlemania week in Los Angeles, Goldberg met with at least one international promoter with idea of having a farewell/celebration show in Israel and perhaps other countries.  For all of the talk bouncing around about Goldberg vs. MJF in AEW, we haven’t heard that’s been discussed, but Tony Khan has seemed open to the idea of Goldberg in AEW, but not ROH.

We will have to wait and see what comes next for the former WCW star but for now, Goldberg will be happy to plan his own retirement tour.
