IMPACT Wrestling Announces Changing of the Guard Segment, We Hear From Nick Aldis, & New Matches on 4/20 Episode
Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce that we’ll be getting a celebrating of new IMPACT World Champion, Steve Maclin, with an official “changing of the guard” ceremony this Thursday in IMPACTonAXSTV.
Maclin is a US Marine, and this is a normal thing when a new person on top comes into power, in this case Maclin winning the World Title at Rebellion.
Rebellion was full of great moments, including the return of top free agent Nick Aldis to the company. Nick came out prior to the World Title match and sat on commentary, where he mentioned that the deal is officially done and he’s returned to IMPACT Wrestling.
After the World Title match was over, Maclin attacked IMPACT President, Scott D’Amore, as soon as he was handed his World Title belt. Nick Aldis got into the ring and confronted Maclin, making his intentions clear that he’s coming after the World Title.
We’ll also see IMPACT Digital Media Champion, Joe Hendry, put his title on the line against Sheldon Jean.
The last time we saw Sheldon Jean on an IMPACTonAXSTV episode was February 2nd of this year when he battled Crazzy Steve, where unfortunately he lost.
Finally, Frankie Kazarian will take on The Good Hands – Jason Hotch & John Skyler – in a 2 on 1 Handicapped Match.
Kazarian & the Good Hands were all participants in the Hardcore War at Rebellion, but on different sides. Kazarian was on the winning side with team Dreamer.
