Goldberg Will Not Retire From Pro Wrestling Until He Gets A Proper Send Off

Goldberg wants one last send off before he retires from the ring permanently.

Recently, Goldberg mentioned that he was furious about Vince McMahon breaking a handshake deal with him prior to his WWE deal expiring.

During a recent appearance on 93.7 The Ticket, Goldberg mentioned that he’s leaning toward doing his own retirement tour to ensure he will get a proper sendoff.

If I go on a world tour and promote it myself, that’s a possibility. Hey, I’m a businessman, and I’m fortunately, you know, in the position I firmly believe to where I can still make it happen. At the end of the day, like I said, I do believe that my character deserves a proper send-off. Until that happens man, I don’t believe I’m hanging them up, you know. Anything and everything is an option. I’m very much leaning towards promoting it myself and doing a four-city world tour.”

Goldberg is not the first talent to orchestrate their own retirement tour, as recently as late last year, we saw The Great Muta’s final tour of professional wrestling matches. For Goldberg, we could see something similar through his final run of in ring performing.
