Advertised locally but not appearing during the broadcast, CM Punk came out post-show. He updated the audience on his health, stating his triceps wasn’t fully healed but was improving. He also supported local legend Pete Rose for the MLB Hall of Fame.
His speech was cut short when Chad Gable and the Alpha Academy interrupted him. Gable challenged Punk to a fight, which Punk declined due to his injury. Instead, Punk introduced a recently recovered friend to take his place in the fight, revealing Sheamus.
