Darren McCarty Talks IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts, What He Loves About The Current Product
Darren McCarty is a 4x Stanley Cup
Champion with the NHL Detroit Red Wings; he was an “enforcer” for the team.
While chatting with the guys of the Knockouts and 3 Counts podcast, former NHL Detroit RedWings star Darren McCarty shared his thoughts on what he likes the most about IMPACT and the current product:
“One of my favorites out of the past few years is the females (Knockouts). They do such a good job, and Deonna Purrazzo is one of my favorites, the Virtuosa, that “I know that I’m good” attitude and then I love her finisher, that it’s so believable; she’s a bad ass. And then you bring in Masha Slamovich who I see all over the place; she’s the busiest person that there is and has different connotations & believability, right?
The thing I loved was the AJ Styles and Samoa Joe and the old TNA/IMPACT days, the 6 sided (ring), all that stuff was different. The biggest thing that I love, and nothing specific, but the stories you can get into it – especially the long term ones.” – Darren McCarty
