Tony Khan Says Tony Schiavone Is Responsible For Nyla Rose’s Current Storyline

Tony Khan credits Tony Schiavone with the idea that has lead to Nyla Rose challenging Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship this weekend at Full Gear.

For those unaware, Nyla Rose has stolen the TBS Championship from Jade and this has lead to Nyla earning an actual match for the title. During this storyline, Nyla has shown her comedic ability and entertaining character work and fans have had nothing but praise for the former AEW Women’s World Champion.

During the AEW Full Gear media call earlier today, Tony Khan discussed Nyla and her current storyline, attributing the idea to Tony Schiavone.

Tony is asked how the story between Jade Cargill and Nyla Rose came about. Credits Tony Schiavone for the idea that Nyla ended up running with. Says it's been a great way to showcase her personality. Says Nyla took the ball and has ran with it.

Time will tell if this storyline will end with Rose becoming the brand new AEW TBS Champion at Full Gear this weekend.
