It looks like we now know who will face Gargano in his return to the ring.
Gargano announced last week that he would be returning to the ring on tonight’s Monday Night RAW. No opponent has been announced in an official opponent for Johnny’s first match since December 2021.
PWInsider have now reported that Johnny Gargano’s opponent on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW is none other than Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable. Johnny last wrestled during the War Games match on December 21st 2021.
The current plan is for Chad Gable to face Johnny Gargano tonight on Raw as Gargano’s first match back since returning to Raw.

With Gargano and Gable having the chance to wrestle each other in the past, this will provide Gargano with a familiar opponent to shake off the ring rust on RAW.
