CM Punk Requires Surgery, New AEW World Champion Will Reportedly Be Crowned

It looks like once again, a new AEW World Champion will be needed.

Earlier today, The Wrestling Observer reported that CM Punk was scheduled for a meeting with Tony Khan and Ace Steel at 4pm via Zoom. They also reported that Punk will require surgery on his injured arm.

Tony Khan is set to address the situation on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

There have been reports that everyone involved in the brawl is suspended and with Punk requiring surgery, he will be off TV for quite some time once again. Time will tell what Tony will have to say on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
