Angelo Dawkins Is “Pissed Off” That People Underestimate His In Ring Ability

Angelo Dawkins wants fans to put respect on his name.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits are two of the most over acts in the WWE at this time. Due to their comedic timing and ability to sell a match, as well as both of their in ring talents, fans find it easy to like the pair.

However, in recent weeks the talk has turned to Montez Ford as a singles star, with many arguing Dawkins could suffer due to that fact. During his interview on Corey Graves’ “After The Bell” podcast, Angelo Dawkins talked about fans not thinking he is good in the ring.

“Everybody thinks for some reason, some weird reason, that I’m not good. I’m very unselfish. I do whatever I can to make the match great. Tez is obviously the more out there guy, so I don’t mind being in the background. I star in my role. I’ll play my role. I’m a role player in a way, but then I had to remind everybody like, hey, dawg, you’re gonna have to put some respect on my name like, the talk is starting to piss me off now. Now you’re about to see a different me.”

Time will tell if the WWE will decide to split the tag team but for now, the pair want a rematch with The Usos for SummerSlam.
