FTR and CM Punk have formed an interesting little stable in AEW. All being massive fans of Bret Hart, the trio all hold championship gold at this time. FTR are the ROH Tag Champs while Punk is the AEW World Heavyweight Champion. The trio wrestled together on Dynamite, where Punk would pick up his injury that he revealed on Rampage.
Punk announced that he would be leaving to get surgery on his leg but he will not be relinquishing the AEW World Title. Dax Harwood of FTR responded to Punk’s speech on Twitter:

Dax making sure Punk knows he’ll be missed. FTR will likely be going for the AEW World Tag Team Championships next. For now, Punk will be on the mend.
