Ukrainian National Liudvik Sholinian Off UFC London Due To Conflict In Ukraine

Liudvik Shonlinian is officially off UFC London later this month. The Ukranian-Armenian fighter was scheduled to fight Brit Nathaniel Wood on the MMA juggernaut’s return to the UK. When asked about the fight personally Shonlinian made it clear that his priorities did not include his MMA career right now.

Ukrainian-Armenian UFC fighter Liudvik Sholinian is in Kyiv and his priorities have changed drastically very quickly:

"(MMA) is the last thing on my mind and I’m willing to give my entire career for this war to end today."

The news comes with the confirmation of the UK government that they will not allow Russian athletes to compete in the UK, forcing fighters like Alexander Volkov, who is in the main event for UFC London, to miss the card, with no word from the UFC yet, it is unclear what will be done to save the card.
