Glibert Burns will look to stop the hype train of Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 273 per Dana White. This is a fight that makes a lot of sense as Burns just beat Wonderboy Thompson but with it not being convincing, Leon Edwards will still challenge for the welterweight title next, however the next contender following that is unclear with Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington squaring off this weekend at UFC 272.
Chimaev on the other hand has been a surging contender in the 170 pound division with possible middleweight aspirations in the near future, last time out he ran through Jingliang Li in three minutes and if he can do the same to a former title challenger and world renowned BJJ grappler, it would be hard for Dana White to say no to Khamzat being next in line for the welterweight strap.
