Intercontinental Title Changes Hands At WrestleMania 37 Thanks To Repackaged Superstar

A second title change has occurred tonight at WrestleMania 37.

Apollo Crews defeated Big E to become the new Intercontinental Champion tonight in a Nigerian Drum Fight. Big E had taken control of the match and even hit the Big Ending to secure his victory until the arrival the Superstar once known as Dabba-Kato arrived and attacked Big E, allowing Crews to secure the victory.

Dabba-Kato arrived wearing military attire, possibly leading fans to believe he may now be known as Commander Azeez, a name trademarked by the WWE recently. They gave no name as of yet, so it has yet to be seen.

Big E’s second reign ends at 110 days, 107 days recognized by the WWE thanks to the tape delay. This is Crews’ first reign as Intercontinental Champion.
