Since joining Retribution, Mustafa Ali has been more open about the pronounciation of his name and how he wants respect put on it. He’s even called out racist fans over the disrespect on his name.
Tom Phillips has managed to get the message and has changed how he pronounces the name at the Raw announce table, but this has ruffled the feather of one Raw viewer who took to Phillips’ DMs to speak his mind on it. Phillips edited what seemed to be more colorful language from the fan, and he edited the name of the fan out to protect his privacy.
The fan accused Phillips of not saying Ali’s name correctly, while Phillips fired back that he was simply respecting the request of the leader of Retribution. Obviously Ali noticed, who retweeted the post by Phillips.
