First Finalist For The NXT UK Heritage Cup Set

On Last Night’s NXT UK we had the first Semi-Final for the NXT UK Heritage Cup, as Noam Dar went against A-Kid in the main event.

The two competitors faced off in another incredible NXT UK match. In the first round the competitors were evenly matched, both showing off some incredible technical wrestling skills. In the final few seconds of the round Dar would land huge kick whilst Kid was straddled upon the rope, Kid struggled to get back to his corner during the break.

In the second round it was Kid who was able to gain the advantage towards the end of the round, applying an armbar in the final seconds but Dar was able to hang on until the end of the round. As Kidd looked to push the advantage in the third round, Dar was able to capitalize on a mistake and was able to get Kid to submit to an armbar, gaining the first fall.

In the fourth round with Dar now one fall up he started to focus on Kids arm, having not relinquished the armbar once he made Kid submit in hopes of damaging it further. However Kid would turn the tide managing to catch Noam Dar in beautiful bridging pin to level the scores at one fall a piece.

Neither man was able to gain a fall in the fifth round meaning they went into the 6th and final round with one fall each, the two would fight back and forth, eventually Kid was able to trap Dar in Omoplata submission forcing Dar to tap out. Securing the second fall in the final round meant that Kid is the first competitor to advance to the finals of the NXT UK Heritage Cup.

On next week’s NXT UK Trent Seven and Dave Mastiff face off in the other Semi-final, who do you think will advance to meet A Kid in the final?
