Report: WWE Plans Edge To Have Two Opponents

WWE Hall Of Famer Edge made his in-ring return during the Royal Rumble, where he put on a great performance. During the match, he had interactions with both AJ Styles and Randy Orton, which might have planted the seeds for future matches.

Mike Johnson noted on the latest audio update of PW Insider Elite that WWE might be planning on having AJ Styles and Randy Orton face the Rated R Superstar in separate matches.

These matches could be taking place on Super ShowDown on February 27th in Saudi Arabia or WrestleMania 36 on April 5th.

AJ Styles suffered an injury during the Rumble match. If he recovers in time for WWE Super Showdown, it is likely he will be squaring off against Edge.

During this week’s RAW, Randy Orton brutally attacked Edge, which possibly confirms the two will be engaged in a feud for Wrestlemania as noted by Dave Meltzer.
