Tyler Breeze Comments On Future and Remaining Time On Contract

Mattias Clement aka Tyler Breeze has been with WWE for almost a decade. Tyler is 31 years old, which means 1/3 of his life has been in the WWE system in some form or another.

Languishing in developmental for close to five years, Mattias was close to being released by the company until he came up with the Tyler Breeze character. That lead him to being an anchor of NXT and eventually got him called up to the main roster.

Tyler never reached the heights on the main roster that many fans wanted him to reach. He was more of a comedy act, whether it be by himself or with Fandango as the team of Breezango. After sporadically being used, Tyler was one of the first talents to transition back to NXT.

NXT seems like a better fit for Breeze due to the adulation he gets from Full Sail, the matches he is able to have and the television time he gets on the black and gold brand. His wife runs a wrestling school in Florida as well, so getting to spend time with her is easier due to NXT only taping in Orlando, Florida.

Recently after making a couple jokes on Twitter, a fan asked Breeze if he would ever want to go back to the main roster again.

Breeze noted he has two years left on his contract. Which would make him 33 years old when his contract expires. That’s almost 10 years younger than AJ styles is now, which means Tyler would have a lot to offer any company that wants him.
