  • MJF Suffers Injury on Last Week’s AEW Dynamite

MJF Suffers Injury on Last Week’s AEW Dynamite

Current AEW World Champion MJF has reportedly been injured on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. He wrestled in a No Count Outs match against RUSH for the AEW Championship on Wednesday.

Beyond Wrestling announced that MJF has pulled out of his scheduled match against Bobby Orlando. They also announced that he has hyperextended his knee and cannot travel or compete in his scheduled bout.

Fortunately though, the injury doesn’t seem to be worst case scenario. Bryan Alvarez reported that while the injury is completely legitimate and not storyline based, there is belief backstage that the injury is minor and that he won’t miss a lot of time.

Beyond Wrestling released the following statement:

”Unfortunately MJF hyperextended his knee during his match last night & is not medically cleared to travel or compete. He will not be in Cranston tomorrow night but assured me that he will wrestle on Beyond Wrestling as soon as his schedule allows. He wish him a speedy recovery”

  • Wrestling Open Worcester Results- June 4th, 2025

Wrestling Open Worcester Results- June 4th, 2025

Tonight’s episode of Wrestling Open featured two semi-final matches in the women’s championship tournament and Bear Bronson making his first title defense against Steven Stetson.

The first match featured Brett Ryan Gosling vs. Handyman Jake Gray. Brett cuts his seemingly weekly promo about retiring Pedro Dones from Wrestling Open. Handyman puts an end to this promo but Brett wins in the match over Handyman via pinfall.

The next segment features Dustin Waller, who is slated to give an apology for how he spoke about Sammy Diaz’ father. Of course, that isn’t what happened and Mani Ariez interrupts saying that Worcester and Sammy are his family. They’re meeting in a match next week

Next is DJ Powers vs, Bobby Casale, DJ complains bout Bobby Casale being calling the prospect of Wrestling Open. Bobby comes out and reminds DJ that he is, in fact, very moist. Bobby Casale goes on to defeat DJ Powers via pinfall.

Now it’s time for TJ Crawford’s weekly challenge. This week, his challenger is All Go Nelli, who is already in the ring. He beats Nelli in 50 seconds. He takes the mic again this week to say something and is interrupted by Brad Hollister, who charges the ring and runs out of the ring. He is given 30 seconds to explain himself, which leads to a countdown started by Hollister and completed by the crowd.  He gives chase to Crawford and challenges him to a match next week.

The next match is the first Semi final match in women’s tournament, which sees Sammi Chaos taking on crowd favorite Gabby Forza. This is a match up of two very strong women. Sammi gives a good fight but Gabby Forza defeats Sammi Chaos via pinfall.

Now up is Kylon King vs. Ichibon. This was an absolute battle that went to a time limit draw. Kylon went to shake his hand and ichi slaps him. Kylon says that he is tired of 15 minutes. He says he wants to have a no time limit match to leave all doubts aside.

Next is the second semi final match in the women’s championship tournament, which pits Kylie Alexia against Jordan Blade. Both women had their shoulders on the mat and pinned each other. There was no clear winner. IWTV and Wrestling Open officials decide that the match will happen again next week.

Now, it’s main event time which sees Bear Bronson take on Steven Stetson, who is accompanied by Brian Morris, in his first defense as Wrestling Open champion. The entire match was back and forth between the two men. Morris comes in with a bat he found under the ring, but Bobby Casale stops him from using it. The ref sees Morris with the bat and throws Brian out. The Ref gets knocked out and Stetson low blows Bronson. Danny Miles, a member of the Stetson Ranch, comes out to confront Stetson and saves us from hearing “for the ranch” as he turns on Stetson. Bear Bronson defeats Steven Stetson via pinfall.
