    WWE Raw: Rusev Loses Tag Team Match, Stands Tall Afterwards

    At WrestleMania 42, we have a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship Match. Four of those six competitors competed tonight in tag team action when Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee battled Rusev and JD McDonagh. While it will be every man for themselves this weekend, these teams have to work together tonight to get a slight mental advantage.

    While Dragon Lee and Je’Von Evans have been friendly in the past, it was interesting to see if JD McDonagh and Rusev would work well together. In the early going, they did solid, but it was Je’Von Evans who had everyone reeling with his ferocious offense.

    JD was even showing off as well, hitting a Moonsault to the outside. But, when the likes of Je’Von Evans went to the well to often for a high-flying maneuver, Rusev was able to catch and destroy.

    When Je’Von’s offense lacks, Dragon Lee was there to pick up the slack. Dragon and JD had some very fun back-and-forth offense while they were in the ring together, including Dragon Lee picking up the win with a Styles Clash.

    Before Je’Von and Dragon could even celebrate, Rusev was on the attack post-match. Then, here came Rey Mysterio and Penta to join the fray. This rounds out all the WrestleMania competitors, but Rusev laid them all out. Even JD McDonagh.

    At WrestleMania 42, Penta will put his intercontinental championship on the line against Rusev, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio & JD McDonagh. This will air on the first hour of WrestleMania Night 2, Sunday, on ESPN.

    WWE RAW: Kairi Sane Upsets IYO Sky, Asuka Gets Involved

    In the first hour of WWE RAW tonight, Asuka and Kairi Sane interrupted an interview that IYO Sky was doing. There, Asuka made it clear that Kairi is on her side, and tonight, she wants IYO to go one-on-one with Sane. While hesitant at first, Kairi agreed and the match was made.

    When the match began, both competitors were off to a fast start. Quickly, the match took a spill to the outside, where IYO Sky hit a Moonsault off the barricade onto Kairi Sane before heading to a commercial.

    As the match started to wind down, it looked like IYO Sky had this match won. But, Asuka got involved and slammed IYO’s head into the ring post. This caused Rhea Ripley to make her presence known. But, before she could hit Asuka with the Riptide, Jade Cargill attacked from behind.

    IYO Sky hit a suicide dive to take Jade out, but when she turned her attention back to Kairi, Asuka got involved again and helped Kairi Sane pick up the win. Things are heating up!

    WWE RAW: LA Knight And The Usos Beat MFT’s

    Earlier in the night on WWE RAW, The Usos and LA Knight were approached by Solo Sikoa and the rest of the MFT’s, except Tama Tonga. Solo mentioned that he didn’t know where Tama was, but he also wondered why Jimmy and Jey Uso were hanging out with a loser like LA Knight.

    Of course, this caused an argument and LA Knight said that he and the Usos needed practice before their six-man tag team match at WrestleMania against The Vision and iShowSpeed. So, the six-man tag was made.

    The match didn’t end up going too long, but it was the end that had the MFT’s in disarray. While both teams had some solid offense, Solo Sikoa was the one to take the action to the outside of the ring. That’s when he saw Tama Tonga in the crowd, and asked him where he was. While Tama didn’t answer and just stared at Solo and Talla Tonga, Solo continued to grill him. Meanwhile, LA Knight was able to hit the BFT on Tonga Loa and pick up the win for his team.

    WWE RAW: Lyra Valkyria Defeats Charlotte, Tempers Flare

    • WWE RAW is live on Netflix for the go-home show heading into WrestleMania 42. Apart of that event, the Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line when Nia Jax and Lash Legend defend their gold against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, Charlotte and Alexa & The Bella Twins in a fatal-four-way tag team match. Though, it was mentioned on commentary that Nikki Bella is rehabbing an ankle injury and is hoping to be ready by the weekend. Her participation is up in the air at this point.

    Tonight, two of those participants in Lyra Valkyria and Charlotte went one-on-one to see if maybe they could gain an advantage heading into the grandest stage of them all.

    During the match, both women had some great offense and some very close near-falls, such as Charlotte perfectly landing her Moonsault, but Lyra Valkyria stayed in it. Things started to change when Charlotte shoved Valkyria into Bayley, who was at ringside.

    This only infuriated Bayley, who tripped up Charlotte and allowed Lyra Valkyria to get the roll-up on Charlotte and score the victory. After the match, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss got into a shoving match with Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Things are heating up heading into WrestleMania!

    Night Cap Podcast Set For WWE World With Undertaker

    The Night Cap show is coming live from WrestleMania week, they announced today. Former NFL stars Shannon Sharpe and Chad ’Ocho Cinco’ Johnson run The Night Cap, which is usually a sports based podcast, but often times they interview celebrity guests.

    It has now been revealed that the show will be apart of Radio Row in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, April 16. Then, on Friday, April 27, the duo will be invading WWE World and will run a live show with WWE Hall Of Famer, The Undertaker.

    While an official time-slot hasn’t been announced, it will be live on their YouTube channel for fans to view.

    WWE World is an all-access fan experience where WWE fans can meet their favorite superstars, interact with exhibits and buy exclusive merchandise. The event will run from Thursday-Monday for WrestleMania 42 week.

    Case Closed On Ruthless Pro Wrestling Stabbing Of Krule

    If you’ve been living under a rock, or just haven’t been keeping up with the latest news in independent wrestling, there’s been a big commotion online after an apparent “stabbing” occurred with Krule at a Ruthless Pro Wrestling show last month in Illinois.

    During the event, independent wrestler Krule got into it with a fan, causing an all-out brawl between said fan and several wrestlers. Following the events occurred, it was reported that Krule was stabbed during the scuffle. This comes straight from wrestlers Mickie Knuckles and Lou Nixon told who the Cultaholic site that they were there and Krule was indeed stabbed.

    Later on, wrestler Gregory Iron spoke on the situation with his firsthand account and mentioned that he did not see a stabbing. Now, POST Wrestling has reported that the Berwyn Police Department confirms that no stabbing occurred at the Ruthless Pro Wrestling event at the Berwyn Eagles Club.

    Following the situation, news exploded when the Berwyn Eagles Club announced they will not host pro wrestling events after its April 24 show with AAW. They cited issues with its license to promote shows.

    The aftermath of this situation continued when Krule, who was booked to take on SLADE at GCW’s  ‘MDK Fight Club’ event in a No Rope Barbed Wire Match Thursday night, has been pulled. Independent standout Dr. Redacted Joe takes his place against SLADE, as show on The Collective’s Instagram story.

    Krule was set to compete on a second GCW event this weekend for The Immortal ClusterF*ck event. No word yet if he’s been pulled from that show, as well.

    A GoFundMe campaign has been launchedby Jon Craft to raise $3,000 for “essential operating costs” to keep the Berwyn Eagle Club alive.

    AEW Dynamite Spring Break Thru: Three Championship Matches Set

    This Wednesday live on TBS, AEW Dynamite will be a special Spring Break Thru edition. This will also be a two night event that carries on to a special Thursday edition of AEW Collision just one day later. Coming out of the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view, this Wednesday’s Spring Break Thru is loaded with now three championship matches, all piggybacking off of things that took place on Dynasty.

    First, it was revealed that MJF will defend his AEW World Championship once again after successfully retaining the championship against Kenny Omega in the pay-per-view main event. MJF’s opponent will be Darby Allin, who earned his shot by defeating Andrade on Sunday. Now, Darby and MJF will clash for the World Title.

    Also on Wednesday, the AEW TBS Championship will be on the line when Willow Nightingale defends against the newly returned Kamille. During the AEW Dynasty Zero Hour, Kamille attacked Willow backstage, revealing that she’s back. Then, Kamille had a match where she dominated a local opponent. After the match, Nightingale came out to confront Kamille, but was once again laid out. Later into the show, Willow threw out the challenge to Kamille for Spring Break Thru, and was willing to put her title on the line. It’s official.

    Lastly, we have a brand new AEW TNT Champion and it’s ‘The Jet’ Kevin Knight. Kyle Fletcher was forged to vacate the TNT title due to injury and thus, the title was up for grabs in a Casino Gauntlet Match on Sunday night. After many competitors entered, Kevin Knight stood tall as the new champion. In the gauntlet match, Death Riders members Wheeler Yuta, PAC and Daniel Garcia were all in the match. But, there was one interesting omission, which was the Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli.

    Because Claudio was not in the match but the other team members were, he will get a chance at the gold. Tony Khan announced during the post-Dynasty scrum that Kevin Knight will defend the TNT Championship against Claudio Castagnoli this Wednesday.

    AEW Dynasty was live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. The event was headlined by MJF versus Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship and also featured a Casino Gauntlet to crown a new AEW TNT Champion after the gold was recently vacated.

    AEW Dynasty: MJF Retains AEW World Championship

    In the main event of AEW Dynasty, it’s the God of pro wrestling versus the Devil. MJF put his AEW World Championship on the line against Kenny Omega in what was generally billed as The Devil versus The God, due to the names bestowed upon each man, despite MJF giving himself the Devil name.

    Nonetheless, this is a match many All Elite Wrestling fans have been waiting for, and the feud has been heated up with MJF targeting Kenny Omega’s diverticulitis issues, both physically and mentally. But, Kenny Omega claims to be 100% and he’s ready to regain not only the AEW Championship, but the top billing from MJF.

    Early on, MJF was seemingly surprised at Kenny’s 100% heath rate, and even had to go into the crowd to take a breather. Eventually, the action spilled to ringside and it was clear, Kenny Omega is good to go and he’s here to fight.

    As Kenny Omega introduced some weapons into the match, MJF immediately wanting things back in the ring. MJF used some dirty tactics to get himself back in control as he fought to retain his gold.

    Kenny Omega, as we know, isn’t a slouch and he had an answer to everything MJF had to offer. These two were giving it their all, including a disgusting knee from Omega that had MJF on the ropes.

    Omega even pulled out a little nod to Kota Ibushi and hit the corner spring Moonsault. Both MJF and Kenny Omega tried to pull out all the stops. But, in the end, MJF used his Dynamite Diamond Ring and punched Kenny in the stomach before tombstone’ing him through a table for the win.
