Sami Zayn defeated Cody Rhodes & Gunther in a Triple Threat Match to win the Undisputed WWE Championship earlier tonight. Sami rolled Cody up and shocked the world to pick up the win.
Cory Hays of False Finish said that the original plan for Zayn’s title win was, that Sami was to become WWE Champion at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia next year.
But apparently, plans changed.
