Survivor Series is considered one of the biggest Premium Live Events on the WWE calendar. It used to be considered a big four PLE and it especially feels that way because they have made WarGames a major element of the show. People have been wondering why they haven’t heard about a location for this year’s iteration as it usually takes place in November and it seems to be because they were trying to go international.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE has been exploring the idea for months to take this PLE overseas. But it looks like those plans have been falling through the wayside over the last few months. That also seems to be the reason why they don’t have an official announcement yet on a location for the show.
“WrestleVotes added that Boston, Massachusetts, made a push to host the 2026 PLE, but similarly to the negotiations for John Cena’s Last Match, the negotiations with Boston fell through when it came to the financials.”
As of now, WWE has no international PLE’s on the calendar for the remainder of 2026. The next official time WWE will be going overseas will be for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia in 2027. But based on this report, it seems WWE wants another PLE in the very near future.
