AEW Dynamite Results – 1/3/24: Mariah May Debuts, Adam Cole Talks, Deonna Purrazzo Appears, And More!

All Elite Wrestling held this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and aired live on TBS.

AEW Dynamite results – 1/3/24:

• Samoa Joe interview post match from World’s End to open, with Excalibur recapping his World Title win at the ppv. Plus the reveal of The Devil is show.
• Adam Cole comes out to the ring with the Undisputed Kingdom, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Roddy Strong, and Wardlow. Cole explains why he turned on MJF and reveals the plans for the Undisputed Kingdom. Jay White and Bullet Club Gold out to confront Undisputed Kingdom, The Acclaimed come out to make save and chase off BCG.
• Daniel Garcia vignette about his Main Event match against Swerve Strickland.
• AEW International Championship Match: Orange Cassidy (c) defeated Dante Martin to retain the AEW International Title.
• Private Party is back! They come out following the match and go to the ring and put everyone in the ring on notice and the entire tag team division.
• Renee Paquette interviews Timeless Toni Storm (w/Lutha) backstage, she’s going to Manhattan to have a seance for Stephen Sondheim.
• Renee Paquette interview Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana backstage about his Main Event match later in the night against Daniel Garcia. He calls out Samoa Joe and says he’s coming for the gold.
• Mariah May’s debut!
• Mariah May defeated Queen Aminata
• Renee Paquette interview Mariah May in the ring post match.
• Deonna Purrazzo is out and interrupts Mariah May, who just insulted New Jersey. She calls out Toni Storm and announces that she is All Elite. Leads to a scuffle between Mariah and Deonna.
• Christian Cage is out to the ring with Killswitch, Mother Wayne and Nick Wayne for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Christian talks about his 200+ day TNT title reign, thanking Mother Wayne, Nick Wayne and finally himself for defeating Adam Copeland at World’s End. Upsetting Killswitch. Christian then address Adam Copeland.
• Renee Paquette interviews Ruby Soho, Saraya, and Harley Cameron backstage
• Konosuke Takeshita defeated Darby Allin
• Renee Paquette is backstage with The Don Callis Family. Callis issues a challenge for next week’s Dynamite in Jacksonville at Daily’s Place, Darby Allin & Sting vs. Hobbs & Takeshita.
• Eddie Kingston is out for commentary
• AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Four Way Match: Trent Beretta defeated Brian Cage, Bryan Keith, and El Hijo del Vikingo to become the first challenger for the Continental Crown
• Renee Paquette is backstage with Daddy Magic Matt Menard, and Hangman Page interrupts and calls out Samoa Joe. Says he is beating somebody’s ass tonight if he can’t find the World Champ.
• Swerve Strickland (w/Prince Nana) defeated Daniel Garcia
• Hangman Page comes out post match to confront Swerve Strickland, it results in a pull-apart.
