Final WWE Tryout Of 2023, Former Pro Football Players, Golfers, Powerlifters, and Cosplayers Attend
WWE held the final Performance Center tryout of 2023 last week.
Among those to receive an invitation to the WWE Performance Center for the final tryout of 2023, were former College, NFL, USFL, and XFL Football players, Fitness Instructors, a Division 1 Swimmer, Olympic Boxing hopeful, weightlifters and powerlifters, former Rugby players, the first Golfer to receive a tryout, and influencers/cosplayers.
Below are the names and information on the last WWE tryout class of 2023.
- Lily Riggs – Fitness Instructor
- Lyla Fit – Fitness influencer, cosplayer
- Elaina Gu – Former D1 swimmer, fitness trainer, Princeton Graduate
- Nyousha Nakhjiri – Iranian born-Canadian Boxer, 2024 Paris Olympic hopeful, International Medalist
- Leigh Laurel – Weightlifter, cosplayer, fitness influencer with 300,000 followers on her TikTok
- Penina Tuilaepa – Professional Rugby Player for the Manusina Samoa, Lindenwood Athletics alumni
- Ven Yovenkpo – Powerlifter
- Jonathan Hess – Football player from Ole Miss University (Tight End)
- Lake-Korte Moore – Defensive Lineman for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League
- Justus Tavai – Former Defensive Tackle for New England Patriots
- Teton Saltes – Former Offensive Lineman: NFL – NY Jets, USFL – Michigan Panthers, and XFL – Arlington Renegades.
- Evan Thompson – Former Collegiate Football player (linebacker) & Golfer from Kennesaw State University. First golfer to tryout for WWE
- Husam Ateyia – Powerlifter, and ICU Nurse
- Logan Tago – Former Rugby player. Played Defensive End and Linebacker at Washington State University, and played for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL
WWE previously held a tryout in September which featured some of the top independent wrestling talents on the market. This latest class to tryout did not include any talents with previous experience in professional wrestling.
