Will Ospreay To Remain With United Empire, Possible Group Expansion

While speaking with Tokyo Sports in Japan, the Great-O-Khan stated that “once he joins AEW, Will Ospreay will not leave the United Empire faction, and will continue to represent it”; O-Khan suggested increasing the number of United Empire members in AEW.

Currently, there are eight members in the United Empire, including fellow AEW tag team and former Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champions, Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher), Great O Khan, Jeff Cobb, Henare, TJP, & Fransisco Akira.

Will Ospreay was recently given the blessing of NJPW to explore options with other companies.

On Saturday, Will Ospreay signed a multi year contract with All Elite Wrestling at their Full Gear PPV. This led many to speculate what would become of his NJPW ties, and even the faction he grew to lead.

It was revealed that TNA made Ospreay a “massive offer” before Will decided to sign with AEW.
