Ronda Rousey Teams With Marina Shafir In ROH Debut Against Women’s Champion Athena & Minion, Billie Starkz
Earlier tonight, Ring of Honor aired their previously-taped Ring of Honor tv show tonight. During the show, ROH Women’s Champion, Athena, made an open challenge for any team who wanted to test themselves against her and Billie Starkz.
The highlight of the show was former UFC & WWE champion Ronda Rousey teaming with her real life best friend and AEW/ROH star Marina Shafir to take on the ROH Women’s Champion – former WWE star Athena (formerly Ember Moon) – and her protege Billie Starkz.
Marina makes her way out, but her partner has not been revealed.
Ronda Rousey officially makes her Ring Of Honor debut.
The match ended when Rousey tapped out Billie Starkz with an Armbar for the victory.
Post-match there was some dust-up between Rousey and Athena before Starkz intervened.
It remains to be seen whether this leads to a match between Rousey and Athena, or if it was just a one-off for Rousey.
